Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Period:

The rental period begins at the time of pickup or delivery and ends when the equipment is returned to TEC4 Productions
Late returns may incur additional charges unless prior arrangements have been made.

2. Reservation and Payment:

Reservations must be confirmed with a signed rental agreement and a deposit (if applicable).
Full payment is required prior to pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Expanded Payment and Cancellation Details:

In the event TEC4 Productions is unable to fulfill the rental, refunds will be issued promptly.
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the rental period to avoid charges. Deposits are non-refundable if the cancellation is made less than 72 hours before the rental period.
Any additional cancellation fees or adjustments will be clearly communicated in writing.

3.Identification, Pre-Rental Condition Documentation, and Security Deposit:

A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all rentals.
Prior to pickup or delivery, the customer is required to inspect the equipment and complete a condition report or checklist. This report, signed by both parties, documents the equipment’s preexisting condition, ensuring any damage noted later is not attributed to the rental period.
A refundable security deposit may be required, depending on the type of equipment rented. This deposit will be returned upon the safe return of the equipment in its original condition.

Customer Responsibilities

1. Care, Maintenance, and Safe Operation:

Customers are responsible for the proper use and care of the rented equipment. Equipment should be used only for its intended purpose and according to any provided operating instructions. This includes adhering to all safety guidelines and proper maintenance practices to avoid misuse or damage.

2. Loss or Damage:

Customers are liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the rental period. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
Liability Limitations and Indemnification:

The customer agrees to assume full responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages that may occur during use.
The customer further agrees to indemnify and hold TEC4 Productions harmless from any claims, actions, or damages arising from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized use of the equipment.
Insurance Requirements:
Customers are advised to verify that they have adequate insurance coverage for the rented equipment. TEC4 Productions is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from the use of the equipment unless otherwise mandated by law.

3. Inspection Upon Return:

All returned equipment will be inspected by TEC4 Productions staff. Any damage or missing items will be noted, and charges may apply.

Delivery and Setup (Optional)

1. Delivery Service:

Delivery is available upon request for an additional fee. Please confirm delivery details at the time of reservation.
Delivery fees vary based on location and equipment.

2. Setup and Takedown:

Professional setup and takedown services can be arranged for an additional charge. Please provide event details and timing when requesting this service.

Cancellations and Refunds

1. Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the rental period to avoid charges.
Deposits are non-refundable if the cancellation is made less than 72 hours before the rental period.

2. Refunds:

Refunds are issued only for cancellations made within the specified time frame or if TEC4 Productions is unable to fulfill the rental.

Additional Information

1. Technical Support:

Basic operating instructions will be provided for all equipment. For advanced support, on-site technicians can be arranged for an additional fee.

2. Substitutions:

If the requested equipment is unavailable, TEC4 Productions reserves the right to substitute similar equipment of equal or greater value.

3. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TEC4 Productions operates. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.

4. Force Majeure:

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such delay or failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).

5. Amendments and Entire Agreement:

This document constitutes the entire agreement between TEC4 Productions and the customer regarding the rental. Any modifications or amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties to be enforceable.
